On the afternoon of July 24, the preparatory meeting of the Hainan Agarwood Industry Federation was held at the Institute of Tropical Biotechnology of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agriculture in Haikou City, the meeting mobilized and deployed the preparatory work for the establishment of the federation. Institute of Tropical Biotechnology Chinese Academy of Tropical Agriculture, Hainan Great View Agarwood Industry Development Co., Incense Capital Agarwood Industry Holding Group and other representatives of more than 30 research units and enterprises attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Dai Haofu, Deputy Director of the Institute of Tropical Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences.

  At the meeting, Deputy Director Dai Haofu introduced the leaders and business representatives present and the agenda of the preparatory work session. 

  The federation's founder, Li Xi, the chairman of Hainan Great View Agarwood Industry Development company was introduced the background and preparation for the establishment of the federation, and combined with the current situation, analyzed in depth the importance of the establishment of the this Federation. 

    He said that the preparation for the establishment of the Hainan Provincial Agarwood Industry Federation is an important initiative to implement the work of the provincial government and promote the high-quality development of the agarwood industry. It will have an extremely significant and far-reaching impact on the cohesion of Hainan's agarwood industry, the creation of the whole industry chain of agarwood, the enhancement of the competitive advantage of enterprises, the prosperity of the agarwood consumer market and the establishment of brand benchmarks. 

     He pointed out that we should not only grasp the policy guidance and industry development trends, but also need to effectively strengthen the Federation's own construction, run out of character, run out of height, run out of brand.

    Hainan agarwood industry research experts, association leaders and business representatives have also expressed their opinions and suggestions on the development status,problems and future development direction of the agarwood industry in Hainan. We all agree that there is an urgent need for a united organization, multiple leading enterprises to lead the Hainan agarwood industry to a higher level.

   The meeting also considered and adopted the "Constitution of the Federation of Hainan Agarwood Industry (Draft)", "Management System of the Secretariat of the Federation of Hainan Agarwood Industry (Draft)", "Criteria and Management Measures of the Federation of Hainan Agarwood Industry (Draft)" and other related documents. Announced the list of proposed member units, considered and adopted the list of candidates for the Board of Directors, the Supervisory Board, the President, the Vice President, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, the Secretary General, etc. Laying the foundation for the first general meeting of the Hainan Agarwood Industry Federation.

   More than 30 representatives of member units of the Federation attended the meeting. Everyone agreed that starting from the big family of the association, we should continue to build a distinctive brand of Hainan agarwood industry and make the brand effect become a booster for the development.
