    The "world agarwood germplasm resource bed" is the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agriculture Research Institute of Biology and Hainan Great View agarwood company, in order to promote the sustainable, rapid and healthy development of Hainan agarwood industry, to enhance the level of development of Hainan agarwood industry and jointly created. The resource nursery covers an area of more than 100 mu and has introduced 14 species of agarwood germplasm resources, totaling more than 1,200 trees from around the world, including more than 20 native white wood agarwood (earth agarwood) mother trees. 

    Sedum is a precious Chinese medicine in China, integrating culture, medicine and collection, with a heavy historical and cultural value and modern economic value. The development of the agarwood industry in Hainan has a unique advantage in promoting the development of related industries such as tropical characteristic and efficient agriculture, medical and health industry, biopharmaceutical industry and tourism industry. Construction of the "world agarwood germplasm resource bed", will agarwood as Hainan "fourth tree" to system research, overall development, to play Hainan's tropical resources advantage, practicing the concept of "green water and green mountain is the silver mountain of gold", effectively protecting the rare tree resources of agarwood and orderly development and utilization, to create Hainan international "fragrant island" brand, promote the construction of free trade port and the development of Hainan's health industry is of great significance.

    According to the construction plan, the "World agarwood Germplasm Resource Park" will collect all the world's 23 species of agarwood resources in three years, in order to help the healthy and rapid development of the "fourth tree" agarwood industry in Hainan Province.
